ZWORYKIN, Vladimir K. (1889-1982). Russian-born American inventor and engineer. Invented many electrical devices, notably the iconoscope (1923) and the kinescope (1929). He created the first all-electronic television. Bets known as “The Father of Television.” In 1939 he also invented the electron microscope. Wonderful printed photograph, 8”x11”, B&W, of the inventor dressed in a suit and holding one of his inventions. Removed from a book, signed and dated Apr. 19, 77. The contrast is good.
