Very Rare Genuine Signed Photograph used In Court against a Forger WOODS, Eldrick Tont “Tiger” (1975- ) American professional golfer. One of the most successful golfers of all time. He turned pro at the age of 20 and went on to win 14 major championships .One of the most forged signatures in the hobby of sports. Color photograph, full length pose smiling holding a golf club. Very boldly signed. In addition he has taken his pen and crossed out his face an chest. Many of the signed photographs of Tiger Woods being sold, that are offered with Certificates of Authenticity are in fact not genuine. Stephen Koschal represented the Florida Sheriff’s Office in a sting operation. There was a major forger of autographs working out of a flea market. Koschal was asked by the Sheriff’s Department to make an appointment in order to purchase autographs from the forger in his home. The entire conversation was being recorded in a Sherriff’s van down the street. During trial the judge requested to see a genuine signature of Tiger Woods. This one was supplied to the court by Tiger’s father Earl Woods. One can see that Tiger Woods does not like to supply genuine signed photos and crossed out his image to think he would lessen the value of the photograph. This is one of two original signed photographs supplied to and used in Court. This comes with a business card of the Detective who handled the case from beginning to end. Together with two hand written notes from the Detective: “Stephen & Lynn, these are the real thing. The bad guy pled no contest (guilty). Thank you again so much. Merry Christmas, Det. Paul D. Monahan P.S. Earl Woods did give me permission to give these to you both!” Together with the original mailing envelope from Pinellas Co.
