- Best Known as the "Three Dissimilar
Musketeers of the Air"

- KOEHL, Herman (1888-1938). Baron Guenther
von Huenefeld (1892-1929), and James Fitzmaurice 1898-1965) These three aviators are known for the First Westward
Flight across the Atlantic (Ireland to Canada 1928). The flight
was in their all metal plane called "The Bremen." They
landed in Canada and was lost! Floyd Bennett flew to their aide
but was stricken with pneumonia and died. New York City gave
these fliers a huge ticker tape parade.

- Beautiful Signed Printed Program, Portrait
and menu, tied with cord, honoring
their historic flight. The first page contains a portrait of
the three aviators dressed in their flight gear. All three have
signed above their portraits. This program would be an excellent
display piece or would frame well as a signed portrait. Very
scarce to see all three on the same piece. Fine condition. $975.00
