WARLIMONT, Walter (1894-1976). German Major General; with Jodl drew up plans for the invasion of Russia. He was in the room with Hitler during the attempted assassination on 20 July 1944. Tried at Nurenburg. Autograph letter signed, on very full page, 12 November, 1969. He writes to “Dear Young American.” He continues in part “...My Memoirs-what they ought not to be have been published in your country...under the title Inside Hitler’s Headquarters in 1964…they have reached a third printing.....” Signed “W.
