Extremely RARE Underworld Mobster Signature
VIZZINI, Sal (1926- ) Undercover agent (Sicilian decent) for 13 years with the FBI. He spoke 6 languages. He infiltrated the organization of exiled mafia kingpin Charles “Lucky” Luciano in 1959 and became his confident. Vizzini claimed that “when Luciano died I probably could have taken over.” Vizzini poised as a Turkish engineer, a convicted bank robber, a casino croupier and even went to prison as a mobsters cellmate. Vizzini led a very dangerous life. In 1966 Cuban dope smugglers nearly beat him to death. Vizzini received 5 special awards from the Treasury Department. He later became Police Chief of South Miami. As Police Chief he claimed he wrote the book by which he runs his department and small police departments all over the USA operates by his rules. His book: The Secret Lives of America’s Most Successful Undercover Agent Vizzini.
