TISCH, Preston (1926-2005). Chairman and part owner of Lowes Corporation. New York City Medical Center “Tisch Hospital” named after him. Postmaster General (1986-88) he created a department for the USPS stamp program. From 1991 until his death, Tisch owned 50% of the New York Giants Football Team.
