ANDERSON, C.E. “Bud.”  American fighter pilot with the USAF in WWII. Ace credited with 16.5 victories. A triple Ace, during the war he was the highest scoring Ace in his P-51 Mustang Squadron.  Copy of an article from a newspaper, Sunday June 21, 1992. It illustrates a portrait of Thyben and Anderson standing together.  Title: “Former Foes Bury Hatchet.” Signed by Gerhard Thyben in full adding “Horrido” in his hand.   Boldly signed by C.E. “Bud” Andersonn across his chest adding “Best wishes” in his hand.
