THOMAS, George (1908-1991). Born Youssef Touma in Tibinin which is now Lebanon. Third Class passenger placed in Life Boat #2 by Captain Smith. Very scarce photograph of Thomas looking at a picture of the Titanic sinking. Signed: “George Thomas Survivor.” On the verso is written George Thomas 1962 Survivor of the S.S. Titanic. This is the only signed photograph of Thomas we have seen. This photograph was sent by Thomas as a gift. In fine condition.................$225.00 |
