SUHARTO (1921-2008). Second President of Indonesia. He held that office for 31 years (1968-1998). He rose to Major General following Indonesia’s independence. Like many Javanese, Suharto has only one name. His very rare imprinted visiting card “General Suharto, President of the Republic of Indonesia.” Hand signed and dated “26/5/69.” Blind stamped Seal of the Republic of Indonesia.
