STROHEIM, Eric von (1885-1957). Great Austrian Director, actor, screenwriter and designer of sets and costumes. He is best known for his role in Sunset Boulevard and Grand IlIusion. Striking postcard photograph of von Stroheim dressed in a military uniform, most likely from Grand Illusion. He is sitting at a table and having dinner.
