Space Shuttle Discovery STS-82. (Feb.11,1997-Feb. 21, 1997). Colorful card which has attached a piece of payload liner which was flown in space on Space Shuttle Discovery during the STS-82 mission. It spent 9 days, 23 hours, 37 minutes and 9 seconds in space, making 150 orbits of the earth. Card is affixed to a colorful printed description of the Space Shuttle naming the seven crew members including Kenneth D. Bowersox. Additionally, it describes the purpose of this flight (servicing the Hubble Space telescope). This page has illustrated a color photo taken from the cargo bay which features crew members servicing Hubble over Australia. The card attached below contains a piece of that cargo bay liner.
