SHAPIRA, Moshe (1902-1970). Lifelong religious Zionist. Leader of the National Religious Party and Delegate to several Zionist Congresses. When statehood was declared he was appointed head of the immigration department. He changed his name to Chaim Moshe Shapira after he was seriously wounded in an attack on the Knesset. Scarce typed letter signed, dated 4/1/38. Typed and signed in Hebrew, not translated. Two file holes otherwise in fine condition..................$350.00
