SAPERSTEIN, Abe (1902-1966). Member of the Basketball Hall of Fame; founder of the Harlem Globetrotters. He spread basketball and goodwill all over the world for 40 years. He established an impressive win-loss record. He created a little horseplay and lighthearted fun to the game which kept fans interested. In 1940, the Globetrotters won the world professional title against the Chicago Bruins. Vintage fountain pen signature on an album page. Former owner added biographical notes. On the verso is the signature of Globetrotter legend “Goose” Tatum, the Crown Prince of Basketball who died at the early age of 45. Goose also played Negro League baseball and was a teammate of Satchel Paige. Two very uncommon autographs..............$225.00
