Very scarce A.L.S. of Israeli Artist Rubin
RUBIN, Reuven (1893-1974) Romanian born Israeli painter. Pioneer in the Israeli art world who painted for six decades specializing in biblical inspired landscapes. Some of his original paintings sell more than hundreds of thousands of dollars. He was Israeli’s first Ambassador to Romania. Photograph, b7w, measures 2”x3.25”. On the verso the painter writes: “The greatest satisfaction during my career has been that I made so many people happy with my work. Rubin, Dec. 1970, Tel Aviv, Caesarea.” Anything signed by Rubin can be considered scarce in any form. In very fine condition............................. $175.00
