Original Sketch of Slapsy Maxie Rosenbloom ROSENBLOOM, Slapsy Maxie  (1906-1976). Boxing great, member of the Boxing Hall of Fame. Rough neck comedian, he appeared in several films as a punch drunk type gangster.  Original pencil drawing by N.Y./Miami artist  Alex Greenway of Rosenbloom. Night club celebrities became his models. Xavier Cugat once drew a sketch of Greenway. Greenway was killed  by an auto driven by a drunk driver. Sketch is on a 8”x10” sheet and is boldly signed by the artist. In ink, the boxer has written: “Good Luck From Slapsy Maxie Rosenbloom”.  A fantastic item for framing....$165.00
