ROOSEVELT, Theodore (1858-1919). Twenty-sixth President of the United States. Roosevelt was Governor of New York and Assistant Secretary of the Navy under President McKinley. Roosevelt was an author, explorer, historian, and soldier. In addition, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906. He was also the president who named the president’s home, White House. Previously, it had been called The Executive Mansion. Later he changed the name of White House to The White House. A very dark bold signature on a heavy card. A very little light spotting, left side, possibly fingerprints. Simple signatures of Theodore Roosevelt are disappearing from the autograph marketplace.................$675.00
