RHEE, Syngman (1875-1965). First president of South Korea (1948-1960). He led South Korea through the Korean War. He was imprisoned for seven years, lived in exile with a price of $100,000 on his head. His book: “Japan Inside and out, The Challenge of Today.” Fleming H. Revell Co. 1941, two hundred two pages.
