REINERT, Ernest-Wilhelm (1919-2007). German fighter pilot and one of the top scoring Aces in the Luftwaffe. He flew with the JG-27. Credited with 174 victories. Awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. Scarce color photograph, 4”x6”, half length pose wearing his life vest. Very boldly signed across the photograph “in person” with his full signature. On the verso he has inscribed and signed along with a several word note. A very desirable photograph.
