Very Early Ronald Reagan/Jane Wyman Christmas Card
REAGAN, Ronald (1911-2004). 40th President of the United States. One of the most successful actors in history.
WYMAN, Jane (1917-2007) American singer, dancer and actress. Played many leading roles and winner of the Academy Award for Best Actress. Her acting career lasted 61 years. First wife of Ronald Reagan (1940-1949). Filed for divorce in 1948. In spite of her being the one to file for divorce, she voted for Ronald Reagan in the 1980 and 1984 presidential elections.
Their very early Christmas card. On the cover is a cute puppy with a Christmas Wreath around it. Across the second and third panel is a dog holding a Christmas ribbon sending Christmas wishes. On the third panel below New Year’s wishes the card is signed in print: “Ronald, Jane and The Children”. Ronald Reagan’s mother has written at the top of the third panel “Hello! Rosemarie”. Below she has added in her hand: ”From your friends”. This is the exact card that was used as the illustration for the autograph reference book : “Ronald Reagan and Nell Reagan Autograph Mystery Uncovered”.
