QUEEN ALEXANDRA  (1844-1925) Queen of Edward VII of England. Mother of George V. Founder of Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps. At the age of 16 she was chosen as the future wife of Albert Edward, prince of Wales, heir  apparent of Queen Victoria. They married 18 months later in 1863. She was Princess of Wales from 1863-1901.  Cabinet photo by Lafayette of “Her Majesty The Queen.” Signed below her portrait “Alexandra.”  In fine condition, elegantly matted & framed.
