THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER OF YUGOSLAVIA (1945- ) and PRINCESS KATHERINA (1943- ). Alexander is the last apparent heir to the throne of Yugoslavia. He is the only child of former King Peter II. His godparents were George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. Alexander married for the second time in 1985 to a Roman Catholic therefore loosing his place in line of succession to the British throne. Alexander and his wife Katherina first came to Yugoslavia in 1991. They live in the Royal Palace in Dedinje. Katherina was born in Athens and speaks Greek, English, French, Spanish and Serbian.
