PRESLEY, Elvis (1935-1977). Legendary “King of Rock & Roll.” Popular film star.
Considered by many to have the most influential voice of the 20th Century. He became a cult figure after his early death at the age of 42. Very scarce 8”x10” B&W St. Petersburg Times (Florida) photograph of Elvis signing four of his record albums. By his side is the smiling Tri-City Suncoast Festival Miss Cigar Queen. Inscribed and signed near the upper left portion of the photograph using red ink: “To Homer, Best always, Anne Helm.” Using the same red ink pen, Elvis Presley signed his name just above the area of his head. The red ink pen does not have the best of contrast but still readable with the signature of Elvis Presley more distinct. The photo is in very good condition with minor creases mostly in the blank margins. Elvis and the Anne in this photo was his co-star, signed this photo while filming “Follow That Dream” in 1961 in Inverness, Florida. A remarkable signed photo of Elvis signing his albums...........$1,650.00
