PERES, Shimon (1923- ) His death announced on January 18, 2014 was wide spread around the world but was a hoax. Served twice as Prime Minister of Israel (1984-86) and (1995-96). Peres helped negotiate the 1993 accord with the Palestine Liberation Organization and shared the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize with Yasser Arafat and Yitzak Rabin. An autograph letter signed on his name engraved card. Appx. 4”x5.5” dated 1.10.66. Not translated. Two file holes not affecting a thing otherwise in fine condition.
