Beer Making Pioneer
PABST, Fred (1836-1904). Beer making pioneer, steamship captain on the Great Lakes. During 1864, Fred Pabst brought half interest in Philip Best Brewing Company. The plants production was 5,000 barrels a year. Nine years later the output was 100,000 barrels. Capt.
