ORLANDO. V.E. (1860-1952) Italian Prime Minister (1917-1919). Represented Italy Paris Peace Conference, known as “Premier of Victory.” He changed Italy’s form of government into a Republic. In 1925 he stated he was proud of being mafioso. During 1948 he was elected by Parliament as a candidate for President. Choice signature on a large card: “V.E.
