The Coroner of the Stars NOGUCHI, MD, Thomas T.  (1927-   ) Former Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner for the County of Los Angeles (1967-1982). Known as “The Coroner of the Stars”.   He conducted the forensic investigations on Marilyn Monroe, Robert F. Kennedy, Sharon Tate, Janis Joplin, William Holden, Natalie Wood, John Belushi and many others.  His book: “Coroner”,  Simon & Schuster, 1983, first edition, two hundred fifty-two pages.
