EMANUELE III, Vittorio (1869-1947). King of Italy and Emperor of conquered Ethiopia. After Mussolini suffered a number of military defeats, it was King Emanuele who dismissed Mussolini on July 25, 1943. Partly printed document signed “Mussolini” as Minister of War, in Italian, one very full page, small folio, Rome, 1925. Printed heading bears the huge name of the King. Vittorio Emanuele has signed this document just above Mussolini’s signature. The King’s signature is over seven inches long. Two rubber stamps and two signatures of officials are present. Together with a reproduced portrait of Mussolini shaking hands with King Emanuele. A very attractive document in very good condition................................SOLD ![]() ![]() |
