The Dreaded Messerschmitt Fighter Plane MESSERSCHMITT, Willy  (1898-1978).  Noted aircraft designer and builder of German planes during WWII. The Messerschmitt fighter plane was named after him.  U.S. 4 cent 1911-1961 Naval Aviation Postage Stamp, hand signed by Willy Messerschmitt. Plate block number “27016.”  Together with a T.L.S. by A. Woeckner on Messerschmitt AG letterhead dated Aug. 2, 1967 sending the signed stamp. Both items in fine condition...............................$150.00
