Founder of McDonalds
MCDONALD, Richard (1908-1998). American icon and fast food pioneer who along with his brother established the first McDonald’s in 1940. In 1954 Ray Kroc visited McDonald’s and was inspired by the 15 cent hamburgers cranked out in a fast pace. He saw the potential for franchises. Photograph, 8”x10”, B&W of the first McDonald's hamburger stand. Signed on the light portion of the sky: “Richard J. McDonald, Founder McDonald’s Hamburgers”. As nice as one can expect. McDonald’s signature is quite uncommon.................SOLD
