A museum piece. d) Two colorful entrance tickets to Hoa Lo Prison. e) A choice piece of red brick measuring appx. 2”X2” and 1.75” thick from Hoa Lo prison. f) A photo of Steve Koschal holding this piece of brick outside Hoa Lo Prison. g) Four pieces of bark from the famous Almond tree still growing inside Hoa lo Prison. This tree was popular amongst prisoners as it was the area where prisoners gathered to collect almonds, they also made medicine from the tree and carved chop sticks from the branches.
