Serial Kiler??? Spent 30 years in prison, wrongfully accused
MAXWELL, Bobby Joe (1949-2019). A black man serial killer convicted of 10 murders between 1978-1979. Known as LA’s Skid Row Stabber. He terrorized victims and stabbed them as they slept in doorways. He preferred to kill Chinese and Native Americans. Convicted of the killings and was sentenced to life without parole. After 30 years in prison, his sentenced was overturned and in 2018 he was released from prison. Died the next year. Autograph letter signed (Rainbow) dated April 30, 2000 to My Dear Friend. The beginning has religious tones then goes into asking about the weather “...and it’s so hot I don’t go outside.” Talks about Florida and a ball team and “...I am not flying to many are falling out of the sky...’ ‘...and being a diabetic is dangerous they don’t care here, so I got to get away...” One very full page in fine condition...................$95.00
