Very Scarce Move Still from “Four Jills In A Jeep”
LANDIS, Carole (1919-1948). Bosomy blonde movie star who at the time of her early death had already made 49 movies. Nicknamed “The Chest” she entertained the troops during WWII. She was one of the GI’s favorite pinups. Her popular comedy drama movie “Four Jills In A Jeep” (1944) was directed at homesick GI’s. A very uncommon movie still from “Four Jills In A Jeep.” Landis is sitting on an Army cot in a barrack, legs crossed and putting on a shoe, while having a beautiful smile. Hand signed “Carole Landis.” Many of the photos that have reached the autograph market bear secretarial signatures of Carole Landis. In fine condition.........SOLD
