Typed letter signed, on the imprinted stationery of Universal Pictures Corp., Carl Laemmle, president. Oct.23, 1931, New York. To Mr. Maurice Weinberg. In this letter he encloses a descriptive pamphlet (not enclosed) and wants it used as a guide to the best in current motion pictures. He then goes on to promote a biography written about him by John Drinkwater. He states: “...something of the glamour and fascination of the motion picture business shines through this book and I believe it would entertain you...” A few separations in the folds (repaired on the verso) and one irregular tear not touching the type and also repaired. Small biography of Laemmle stapled to top left corner easily removable is so desired. Quite an attractive letter and quite an uncommon signature in any form............... $595.00
