KRESGE, JR., George Joseph (1935-2024). An American mentalist also known as the Amazing Kreskin. From 1972-1975 his TV series “The Amazing World of Kreskin” was very popular. He appeared on 100’s of TV appearances and on the most popular late night shows. A book from his library: Running Scared, The Life and Treacherous Times of Las Vegas Casino King Steve Wynn.” Author is John L. Sullivan. Paperback, First edition, later printing. Three hundred seventy-five pages with illustrations. Double signed on the half title page: George J. Kresge, 3/26/03, Kreskin.” Wynn sued the publisher for defamation over this book and was initially awarded $3.2 million resulting in the publisher declaring bankruptcy.
