KNAPP, Tom (1925-2016). American artist, print maker, bronze sculptor. Best known for his modern western sculptors. Listed in Who’s Who in American Art. One of his famous works was of a football player created for the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California. Whoever is inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame receives one of these sculptors. Plate block of four Frederick Remington 4 cent Indian Stamps. On the selvage Knapp has painted an Indian Warrior holding his spear. Inscribed: “Best wishes to Noel Goldblatt Tom Knapp 1981.: A very well executed painting. In fine condition, original sketches by Knapp are quite uncommon................ $95.00
