Kipling writes: “I have to acknowledge your letter of Nov. 10 with the book, for which please accept my best thanks. I am afraid however that I am inno sense a critic, and therefore cannot offer any opinion on the work.” Signed in full. Kipling writes the word “Private” near the top left corner of the letter.
