KHALID bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (1913-1982). King of Saudi Arabia (1975-1982). He also became de facto prime minister of Saudi Arabia. In 1943 Prince khalid and Prince Faisal were invited to the United States and V/P Henry Wallace organized a dinner at the White House. There they met with President Franklin D. Roosevelt. In 1965 Khalid was named Crown Prince to succeed King Faisal. Khalid succeeded to the throne on the 25th of March 1975 when King Faisal was assassinated.
