KANE, Bob (1917-1999). American artist and cartoonist. Creator of Batman. Original sketch of Batman & Robin, bust portraits of the “Cape Crusaders.” Kane created the crime-fighters in the Spring of 1939. Batman is considered one of the great comic characters in history. The black-ink sketch is on a 3”x5” card and the sketch of both characters is head & shoulders pose. The drawing is inscribed, signed, adding “Bats Wishes, Bob Kane” and dated 1990. In excellent condition. The inscription could easily be covered by matting.............SOLD
