One of Hitler’s Favorite Composers

Despite his Jewish origin, he was one of Hitler’s favorite composers.  Kalman rejected Hitler’s offer to become an “Honorary Arian” therefore he was forced to move to Paris.  AMuQS, Kalman has penned one line of music from the waltz “Sari” which was played at the New Amsterdam Theatre on 42nd St. New York. Sari was a musical revival on January 29, 1930 at the Liberty Theatre on 42nd Street. Inscribed: To Mr. Lionel A. Aucoin with my best regards, Emmerich Kalman, New York, 8/10/1944.” In very fine condition........
