JONES, Isham (1894-1956). U.S. Bandleader, violinist, bassists and songwriter. His compositions include “Swingin Down The Lane” which was #1 for 6 weeks in 1923. “Ill See You In My Dreams” (1924), “It Had To Be You” (1924), and “There Is No Greater Love” (1936). Jones was inducted into the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame and The Songwriters Hall of Fame.
