IIRWIN, Jim (1930-1991). American astronaut, test pilot. Served as Apollo Lunar Module pilot for Apollo 15. He was the eighth person to walk on the moon and the first and youngest of the moonwalkers to die. WORDEN, Al (1932-2020) NASA astronaut who was the command module plot on Apollo 15. He is one of only 24 astronauts to fly to the moon. In the Endearer, he orbited the moon 74 times. He became involved in a controversy over postal covers that were taken to the moon. Upon the return of the crew, NASA reprimanded them, and they did not fly in space again.
