Vintage 1937 Signatures of the Four Best Golf Players in the World. LITTLE, Lawson (1910-1968). Professional golfer, enshrined into the PGA Golf Hall of Fame (1980). Died while only 57 years old. COOPER, Harry (1904-2000). Professional golfer, enshrined into the PGA Golf Hall of Fame (1992). THOMSON, Jimmy (1908-1985). Professional golfer, he was noted as the longest hitter of a golf ball in the world. He won the 1937 North American Driving Championship. Appeared in the movie “The Caddy” with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis and in “Shoot Yourself With Some Golf” with Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman. Four page score card printed by A.J. Spalding for a Match & Shotmaking Demonstration to be played by the four of the best golfers in the world dated Sunday, November 28, 1937 at Ponte Vedra Country Club in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Inside this pamphlet is 1.5 pages of fundamentals signed in print by Robert T. Jones. This contest was played by H. Cooper & J. Thomson vs. Lawson Little and Horton Smith. Page two contains a scorecard listing in pencil the final scores of the four players. Signed in pencil by all four. A very scarce combination of autographs, seldom offered on the market.
