HOOVER, Herbert (1874-1964). 31st President of the United States. Very interesting content (unusual for Hoover) typed letter signed, one page on his name imprinted letterhead. The Waldorf Astoria Towers, New York , February 19, 1960. Hoover writes: “That was a most gracious note. So that you may not lack for reading material I send you a book just as evidence of goodwill - it is too dull to read much of!” Very boldly signed.
