Two very scarce Signed photos of Robert Hofsinde
HOFSINDE, Robert (1903-1973). Early radio personality, actor and author of over a dozen books relating to the Americans Indians. Born in Denmark, he came to America and saved the life of a Chippewa Indian. He was made a blood brother of the tribe, they gave him the name of “Grey Wolf.” Two vintage photographs taken by a Chicago Studio, 4”x6” one dressed as a cowboy. He has written: “With best wishes Bob Hofsinde.” The other matching photograph, this time dressed as an Indian, he writes “To Sunshine from Grey Wolf.” Both in fine condition and matted in the photographer’s studio matting. A fine collectors item, his autograph rarely seen.............$100.00
