Hillary and Norgay were part of the British expedition to the top of Mount Everest lead by Brigadier, Baron J. Hunt. Tenzing Norgay was the most prominent member of the first party to reach the summit of Mount Everest on May 29, 1953. News of the success of the expedition reached London on the morning of Queen Elizabeth II Coronation. Card measuring 3.5”x3” hand signed in ink by “Ed Hillary”, a rare full signature of “Tenzing Norgay” and by “John Hunt”. Quite uncommon to find all three on the same item.
