HIBEL, Edna (1919-2014). American painter known for her impressionistic landscapes and Mother of Children series. Inspired by Mary Cassatt and Renior. In 1940 she was the youngest artist at the time honored by a major American museum. Her works have been exhibited in prestigious museums, galleries and palaces around the world.
