HARRISON, Benjamin (1833-1901). The 23rd President of the United States (1889-1893). Grandson of William H. Harrison and the last Civil War General to serve as the U.S. President. Benjamin Harrison died just six months before McKinley’s assassination.  Partly printed document signed, appointing Dorsey W. Trump Postmaster of Maquoketa, Iowa a Postmaster, dated October 3, 1890. Bold signature of Harrison and countersigned by the Acting Postmaster General. More than half the seal and ribbons attached otherwise in very good condition....$975.00
