HAMILTON, Margaret (1902-1985). American Actress. Cleveland kindergarten teacher who turned to Hollywood in 1933. Best remembered as The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz. Photo, 10”x8”, B&W, of Hamilton as the witch looking in her crystal ball at Judy Garland. Excellent inscription: “No, I want to see Joe, not Dorothy, Go Monkey, and bring me that Layton Boy, and I’ll show him more tricks than pictures, With Love, Margaret Hamilton”. Written on a dark portion of the photo but still quite readable. In very fine condition...............SOLD
