Rare Bars of Music by German Composer Ferdinand Gumbert
GUMBERT, Ferdinand (1818-1896). German song composer, singing teacher. He began a stage career as a baritone in 1839. He published 874 works, in 1727 publications, in seven languages. AMuQs, the composer has written 4 bars of music and has identified the music as from “Mein Lied”. He has signed his name adding: “Berlin, 30 October 1880” on a 2.25”x4” slip.
