Sky King - Killed In A Automobile Crash
GRANT, Kirby (1911-Oct. 30, 1985). Actor, best known as TV’s “Sky King”. He was killed in an auto accident in Florida while he was enroute to watch the launch of the Space Shuttle “Challenger” at Cape Canaveral. He was to be honored by the astronauts for encouraging aviation and space flight. Advertising portrait of Kirby Grant for the Florida Film Festival.
